Next up at the Kalk Bay Theatre and Restaurant is Musicology. Written by and featuring Candice Michelle, Musicology takes the audience on a journey through 20th century pop culture and highlights the significant events that changed the face of modern music as we know it today: the first recording, chart-breaking songs, the first CD, distinguished guitar riffs, the assassination of John Lennon, the infamous 1990s and, of course, Queen.
All this and more in a glorious collection of songs, some of which you will have forgotten and will love remembering.
Candice Michelle, together with musicians Jethro Stange and Kevin Abbott, will show and tell the story of the phenomenon that is modern music. Featuring songs by Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Billy Joel, Albert Hammond, the Rolling Stones,ABBA, Celine Dion, Alanis Morissette and many more.
Musicology is directed by Alex Tops and runs until Saturday March 19.
