Following a sold out performance at the Masque Theatre earlier this month, David Muller is staging his production Oom Schalk, from the Heart on Sunday August 20 in the grand old home, Gloria Heights, in Axminster Road, Muizenberg, at 7pm.
The show, directed by Celia Musikanth, and encompassing some of Herman Charles Bosman’s stories, is for those who missed out on the previous show and Muller will also be telling a few different stories.
“Bosman wisely wrote Afrikaans in English, more than likely to attract a bigger audience,” says David, “so everyone will understand no matter what your mother tongue is. And, you may bring your entire family. However, as this is intimate theatre, you may want to leave your dog behind.”
