A total of 45 people were arrested in Muizenberg in the past week for various offences including shoplifting and murder.
Muizenberg police say the arrests include robbery, theft, shoplifting, possession of narcotics, assault cases, selling liquor without a licence, housebreaking and attempted theft, rape and three people were arrested for murder.
During the arrests, police also confiscated 19 stops of dagga, three packets of dagga, 27 half mandrax tablets, four madrax tablets, 32 packs of tik, 97 litres of alcohol and a shotgun allegedly used in a business robbery.
The Muizenberg police also thanked various law enforcement agencies for their assistance in the fight against crime.
