Mary and Cliff Shears celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday February 20 at the Constantia Glen Wine Estate.
They were joined by their daughter, Katy Shears and close friends, Jill and Clive Flederman.
Ms Flederman was a bridesmaid at their wedding.
The couple were involved in scouting in Fish Hoek for more than 20 years and Ms Shears is the chairwoman of the University of the Third Age False Bay while Mr Shears is the chairman of the Peers Hill Neighbourhood Watch.
