Juli Jana, having recently returned from London where she had a solo show at Made in Greenwich, will be exhibiting at Questique, 8 Holland Road, Muizenberg during December.
It will be an afternoon of art, music and poetry. All are welcome to the opening on Sunday December 11 at 4pm. The event is free and is open from Sunday December 11 to Tuesday 13 December, and thereafter by arrangement.
Juli Jana completed her second solo show of the year at The Cape Gallery, Cape Town, in November and she is opening the doors at her home town Muizenberg with the saying ‘local is lekker’.
Another local, the young pianist Cameron Barnard, who received the coveted silver award from Trinity College this year, will be playing both classical and jazz.
She explores the cityscape, landscape in abstract forms and realistically using various mediums – oils, watercolour, acrylics and graphics.
