At the Casa Labia, as part of its Summer Sunday Jazz Series, is the Bokani Dyer Trio, on Sunday November 27, arrival 5.30pm for the 6pm start.
The trio is led by multi-award winning pianist Bokani Dyer and includes drummer Marlon Witbooi and bassist Romy Brauteseth, both accomplished musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in SA jazz.
The trio will perform Dyer’s original compositions, infused with a multiplicity of influences, from his Southern African cultural heritage through to Bach, Abdullah Ibrahim and Miles Davis.
