Our wish is that Metrorail never re-installs the Fish Hoek to Simon’s Town line again (“Temporary buses replace rail service,” Echo, July 28). Unless they demolish Sunny Cove station shelter. It is only used by free riders many of whom use it to steal at houses and rob visitors walking along Jager’s Walk – Magda De Kock, Fish Hoek.
* Regarding (“Still Gatvol,” Echo, July 14) De Lille’s contempt towards residents in the south comes as no surprise. It is what caused the problems in the first place. We had the opportunity on Wednesday August 3 to say “enough is enough”. – Belinda Pretorius, Glencairn.
