The Forever Young Seniors’ Club in Ocean View hosted a breast cancer awareness day on Monday October 24 at the multi-purpose centre. Club founder Mutheera Fortune said the purpose of the event was to educate women about breast cancer. Special guests included Mrs Western Cape Tamaryn Williams, breast cancer survivors and Sister Ann Albrecht of the City’s Fish Hoek Clinic who talked to the seniors about early warning signs.
