Career and drug awareness

Ocean View SAPS, in conjunction with Ocean View High School, held a career and drug awareness programme on Friday April 26. The SAPS dog unit was present and demonstrated to pupils how sniffer dogs are utilised to find drugs, explosives and other illegal substances, as well as to track down suspects. Pupils were given the opportunity to interact with members of the police to broaden their knowledge of the police working environment.
