Blessing Bveni, 34, the man charged with the murders of Ian McPherson, 68, and Doug Notten, 57, slain within weeks of each other, made a brief appearance in the Simon’s Town Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday July 3. His appearance was delayed as there was no interpreter, and the case was postponed – to a date that has yet to be confirmed – for further investigation.
