City call centre hours for festive season

The City of Cape Town’s call centre operating hours will be reduced, for the accounts and generalenquiries queue only, over the festive season.

The call centre will be operational from 7am to 5.30pm from Saturday December 15 to Sunday January 6. Water-related enquiries will be dealt with as normal with a dedicated 24-hour line.

Centre as well as the TransportInformation Centre will continue to operate during this period for all electricity and transport-related enquiries.

They can also visit to log a service request, or for account-related and general enquiries. Foraccount-related queries an email can be sent

ThePublicEmergencyCommunication Centre will not be affected and will continue to operate as usual on a 24-hours basis.

The accounts and generalenquiries queue of the call centre will resume normal working hours on Monday January 7.
