The First National Bank (FNB) branch in Main Road Fish Hoek will bid its long standing customers farewell on Friday November 10 as it will shut its doors for good. CEO of FNB Points of Presence, Lee-Anne van Zyl said FNB regularly reviews the viability and sustainability of branches in line with its business strategy. “The bank has taken a decision to close the Fish Hoek branch on November 10 and bank accounts held at the branch will be moved to the Long Beach Mall branch,” she said. The FNB ATMs with cash deposit functionality, located at the entrance of the branch, will remain in Fish Hoek to allow customers to make deposits and withdrawals at a more cost effective rate than in-branch transacting. “We encourage customers to also make use of our digital channels such as the FNB Banking App or online banking for most transactions they currently conduct in-branch,”
