A group of 140 people supported the Silvermine Source to Sea walk on Saturday to raise awareness of the uniqueness of the Silvermine valley, bring people together, and raise funds to cover the costs of employing two people who help to maintain the lower Silvermine wetland area. Organised by the Riverine Rovers, a volunteer group affiliated with Friends of Silvermine Nature Area, this year’s event offered participants an 11.5 km, 7.5 km, or 5.5 km walk.
