Evelyn Lyle of the Fish Hoek Photographic Society took some pictures at the annual spring bash hat gala on Sunday August 31 at The Gallery and Bayside Bistro Restaurants. There were raffle ticket prizes, a lucky draw and prizes for the best hats. The Bootleggers Blues Band and vocalist Marguerita Freeks entertained the guests who arrived wearing their decorated hats to welcome spring. Proceeds from the event went to Empowerment through Education (ETE).
