In a spate of gang-related shootings in Ocean View last week, one man has been shot dead and another is fighting for his life.
Ocean View police spokesman, Sergeant Leon Fortuin, said a 68-year-old man was shot five times on Sunday October 20, at 2.30pm.
The man was rushed to hospital and is in critical condition, say police.
No arrests have been made. Police are investigating a case of attempted murder.

In a separate incident, a 57-year old man was shot dead in Milky Way on Tuesday October 22. Sergeant Fortuin said the man was shot at 6.55pm while on his way home.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
Ocean View police arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of murder and a 22-year-old man for attempted murder on Thursday October 24.
Sergeant Fortuin said the 23-year-old was accused of murdering a 28-year-old woman outside Viola Court in Leo Road in August while the 22-year-old faces a charge of attempted murder for allegedly shootinga24-year-oldmanlast month.
Police also arrested two men on a charge of being in possession of live rounds of ammunition.
