Hitting the road

This picture was taken in Fish Hoek Main Road of Peter Taylor of Rondebosch has been running the Old Mutual Two Oceans Ultra Marathon barefoot for the past 32 years, to raise funds for SA Guide Dogs for the Blind and for people with autism. He is well known for the home-made rucksack which, since 1986, he has carried on his back during the race. He carries it with the idea of raising awareness for guide dogs and, of course, spectators put money in it.
