This year Fish Hoek High changed its house system for competitions, from three houses (Chapman, Nautilus and Aurora) to four, and renamed the houses. The houses are now Ventus (wind), Ignis (fire), Terra (earth) and Aqua (water), the first letters of which spell the word vita which is Latin for life. Jade Bell, a matric pupil, far left, conceptualised the name and the four house emblems were designed by, from left, Grade 11s Caitlin Brouckaert, Robin Terry and Kayleigh Roelofse. The Write Shoppe donated vouchers to them as awards for their involvement.
