False Bay Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day, which was on Tuesday May 12, with a well deserved lunch. It was organised by the False Bay Hospital Trust and the far south’s own braai master and founder of the Neighbourhood Farm Justin Bonello. The smell of the meat sizzling on the braai filled the corridors of the general tea room as staff sat back and enjoyed a variety of meats and salads. The hospital’s manager of medical services, Dr Wendy Waddington, said they wanted to thank all the staff for their hard work and let them know they are appreciated.
