Chief Ishsaqua, from the South Peninsula Customary Khoi Council, spoke to children at Ocean View Care Centre, last Thursday, about how the Khoi people once lived, foraged and hunted across the far south over thousands of years. For his next visit, he plans to take the children to Kommetjie and Soetwater to learn how the Khoi lived off the sea and dunes. Schools wanting to take part in these lessons, can contact Chief Ishsaqua at 064 272 7712. If you can help with transport to Kommetjie and Soetwater, email the Ocean View Care Centre at johann@soteriaministries.org.za
