Lesson in marine sustainability

Recently the Silvermine Academy Grade 9 class visited the Two Oceans Aquarium. The students were given a lesson on marine sustainability. They also had the opportunity to touch sea urchins and see them move under a microscope. As a bonus they were able to touch a small shark. They ended the day by walking around and exploring different areas of the aquarium – a highlight being the sharks and the penguins.
