Magic mentors

Ocean View library awarded 17 Ocean View Secondary pupils Mentoring Award certificates signed by Mayor Patricia de Lille. The certificates were handed over by councillor Simon Liell-Cock to the pupils who are in Grades 9 to 12. They had attended a 12-month programme run by librarian and mentor Fatima Kiel who is also celebrating 28 years of service. Ms Kiel mentored and motivated the pupils who came to the library every week. Guest speakers were Johann Kikillus, Earl Mentor, Virginia Truter, Simon Liell-Cock and Patricia Francke.
