The marching and drilling teams of Kleinberg, Ukhanyo, Marine, and Jupiter Primary Schools, as well as the Ocean View Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) and Ocean View High School, were invited to take part in a Safe Schools Metropole South Education District (MSED) holiday programme from Monday April 3 to Wednesday April 5.
The event took place at Ocean View High School for the first two days and closed on Wednesday at the Ocean View Multi-Purpose Centre Sports ground.
Safe Schools support worker, Lionel Jackson, said: “The goals of the holiday programme was to keep learners safe and occupied during the holiday and engage in life skills activities such as marching and drilling.”
