Prompted by the letter to the Echo last week from the Victory church (“Fear God and nothing else”, Echo, March 8). I was wondering how many churches were aware of the combined prayers for the churches in the valley.
They are hosted every second Saturday of the month by a different church from 8.30am to 9am.
Last Saturday we were praying for more churches to join us. Perhaps this is the answer. Do come and join us. There is no service. We arrange chairs in a circle, which could be ever larger, and bring the worries and troubles of the valley and its surroundings in prayer to God through Jesus, thankful for the time to step aside from the busy world.
We will meet again on Sunday April 14, at the King of Kings
Baptist Church, in Sun Valley.
