The Norwegian word “mot” denotes both the ability to show courage, and the ability to take a stand against something and in South Africa this was implemented in 2006 against the prevalence of bullying, violence and drug abuse. Since then Young MOTivators have been making a difference and they were recognised at MOT SA’s AGM in Pinelands recently. Attending the meeting were Young MOTiva-tors, from left, Fadzai Gunzo from Simon’s Town School, Methetho Hongane, Safina Mongwe and Cinga Mantshinga from Silikamva High School in Hout Bay and Memory Phiri from Simon’s Town School.
