The Fish Hoek Valley Association held its annual general meeting at the Fish Hoek library on Thursday February 13, and guest speaker Trish Wood talked about Valentine’s Day. The existing board members were all re-elected with Bev Frieslich as chairwoman, John Shaw as vice chairman, Mark Robinson as treasurer, Margaret Gundry as secretary, Trish Wood as programme coordinator, Douglas Anderson on IT matters and Sally Britten, curator of the Fish Hoek Museum ex officio. Ms Frieslich said raising funds was important and members had generously donated towards a security fence. The next meeting will be on Thursday March 12, at 5pm and the guest speaker will be Koos Burger, manager of the Glencairn Youth Camp.  Â
