Sixteen fresh new faces have joined the force to fight crime.
On Thursday, January 19, station commander of Muizenberg SAPS, Colonel Ismail Daniels, addressed this parade of newly appointed constables.
After eight months of intensive training, the 16 constables listened eagerly to their station commander.
Colonel Daniels encouraged the new members to remain true to their calling and reminded them of their roles and responsibilities to their community and country.
He told them that it was an honour to be a public servant and said – as a member of the service for 39 years – he hoped that they too will remain loyal and eager to serve and protect the citizens of their country.
The constables will be deployed in the Muizenberg SAPS precinct and will help to improve service delivery and visibility in the area.
