Ocean View police arrested three people for illegal possession of ammunition on Saturday December 1.
Police spokesman, Sergeant Leon Fortuin, said police arrested two men, aged 49 and 24, and a 33-year-old woman during a raid on Aster Court, Ocean View.
He said 24 blank R1 rounds of ammunition were seized from the premises.
* In a separate operation, 100 mandrax tablets were seized during a search in Cheetah Way. The mandrax has an estimated street value of R5 000.
Sergeant Fortuin said a 65-year-old woman, a 20-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested.
