Paying tribute

Local surfers honoured the life of David Jones at Surfer’s Corner in Muizenberg when they paddled out to sea on Sunday, September 16. Matthew Kleynhans captured this drone photograph of the event. He wrote: “Farewell to Dave, big chief at the Empire Cafe in Muizenberg. He will be missed, but never forgotten. He was always willing to help wherever he could and always had time for the community, family and friends. Rest easy friend.”
