The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) released 21 African penguins at the Seaforth Beach during the 16th annual Penguin Festival in Simon’s Town, on Saturday November 10. The endangered species of penguin has rapidly declined in the last century. Despite the south-easter, people gathered to watch as the penguins waddle into the ocean.
