The Ocean View community hall was filled with parents, carers, service providers, and hope.
They gathered in the interests of the children in the community and in a show of solidarity. This whole month the focus was on children with Child Protection Week and Youth Day, the safety and rights of the younger generation having been highlighted. This day was held to inform parents about the services available to them, and had buy-in from Living Hope, Ocean View SAPS, Valley Development Projects, the Provincial government, the SA Social Security Agency and The Pink Ladies.
