Schools in the False Bay area have shared pictures of their recent activities.
Fish Hoek High School geography teacher, Renee Vrahimis took time out of her busy schedule to create an interesting picture of the old VW Kombi using recycled empty coffee capsules.
Fish Hoek High School held its annual inter-house go cart race on Wednesday August 14. Teams were made up from different grades and the competition was fierce. A brother and sister team with Kiara and Gabriel van Wesemael, Megan Pearce and Sarah Brink seated.
Sun Valley choir, the Valley Vocals, set off to George last week to participate in the national choirs festival. This is the second year that the group has participated in the event known as Cantamus. The Valley Vocals performed in the opening concert, and then performed in the adjudication concert too achieving second place in their category. Five pupils from Fish Hoek Primary School was selected to exhibit their work at Zeitz Moccaa as part of the Provincial Visual Arts Celebration in October. They are, Grade 1 pupil, Willow Williams, Grade 5 pupil, Jayda Damon, Grade 6 pupils, Roxi Turner and Ille du Preez and Grade 7 pupil Neve Killian. Pictured is Ille du Preez with her artwork.
