Fish Hoek High Schools netball players have been going from strength to strength this year with the first netball team capping off the season by becoming the 2019 First League Champions. The team, coached by Leasje Welthagen from South Side Netball Academy, has been undefeated in the league and qualified for the Cape Town Schools Netball Finals which was hosted by Bellville High School on Saturday September 7. Fish Hoek High School beat Rustenburg Girls High 16-9 to be crowned 2019 champions. Pictured, from left, are, Katlego Tawana (reserve), Ochre McCreadie, Shannon Decker, Emma Decker, Daina Phiri, Linda Cwayi, Leasje Welthagen, Amber Knowles, Liema Mnyaka and CJ Sieberts with Rebecca Brown, netball team manager, Bertie Roos and Faye Denne in the front.

To celebrate spring, Sun Valley Primary School pupils dressed up in spring outfits on Friday August 30. Pictured are Grade 2 pupils with their teacher, Caitlin Spreeth, dressed up as spring bees.
