1st Fish Hoek Sea Scouts is one of the oldest sea scout groups in South Africa, and one of the two founding groups of the Sea Scout Base on Zandvlei, but much of its history is untold. The group would like to change that.
I’m appealing to the former cubs and scouts of 1st Fish Hoek to come forward and share your memories of your scouting days. Help us piece together the history of our troop so that the boys and girls who are part of it today can find their own places in that story.
