* With respect, Dr Frances le Roux (“Sound benefits babies,” Echo July 7), this is something most people know. I am in my 70s and my children while in the womb, radio placed close to my tummy, had beautiful music played to them. My mom who would have been 110 years old now taught me that. Their father spoke to them, I gently massaged my tummy and spoke to them. My children are well balanced individuals who love music – Morag, Fish Hoek.
