Snakes alive!

■ Charles Dagnall took this photo of a cobra that wandered around his Fish Hoek mountainside property before moving off into the mountain. “We think this chap was looking for water,” he said. “He must have been at least 2m – and old, as reflected by his superb bronze colouring. We hear that cobras and other snakes are quite active at the moment in our area as they come down from the mountain.”
