The Cape was lashed with wild rain and some thunder and lightning last week. On Thursday June 11, the False Bay Echo went out storm chasing – but only found rainbows: and one broken bough. The skies promised more rain and it was bitterly cold, but much beauty was revealed in the aftermath of the first solid winter rains.
