Lockdown Wednesday June 10 showed nature at its worst and people at their best.
We were warned about 80% rain, but not told clouds would open above our home.
When nature called at 6:30am, we got up and stepped into water in our bedroom. Luckily we were insured and the problem sorted out by noon.
As quick as the roads flooded it emptied.
We went to see what came out of the storm water outlet at the beach. On the way back to the car, elderly people in a car called to let me know I dropped something about
30 metres behind. It was my wallet.
I tried to give them something but they refused. I would like to thank them again. They were next to the life saver club, in a white car.
