Sofia Bassios, Kalk Bay
My name is Sofia, and I am in Grade 7 at Bay Primary in Kalk Bay. I am writing on behalf of the other Grade 7s.
We are lucky enough to have Mr Shardlow as our class teacher. He has been teaching at Bay Primary for 29 and a half years!
He is an amazing teacher – funny, interesting, strict and quirky. He’s also a brilliant hockey coach. He was invited to play in Japan in 2020 but turned down the opportunity because it was just too expensive.
The 2019 Grade 7s will do some fund-raising when exams are over, but please help us reach our goal by clicking on the link of the BackaBuddy video that we made about him. So many people in the Fish Hoek Valley know him and were taught by him. If we all give a little
bit, he will be able to have an experience of a lifetime. He has given us all so much over the years and now we would like to do something for him.
