On Tuesday February 18, I had a stream of cars behind me with hands on hooter in an angry fashion.
I’m stuck at an intersection in Sun Valley. My car won’t respond so I get out and indicate with an apologetic shrug that I’m helplessly unable to move on.
A traffic officer arrives and with a friendly and calm manner proceeds to discover that my petrol gauge, although indicating a quarter tank, is not correct and I am out of petrol.
No problem, up come the lads from Martin and East to assist the friendly cop to push my car to the petrol station.
A huge thank you to these gentlemen who restored my dignity.
