Wave therapy

Ocean View’s School for Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) enjoyed a day on Muizenberg Beach with Smile and Wave Surf Therapy, Inclusive Surfing SA and volunteers. The children’s teacher, Patricia Hendricks, said they cannot wait for the freedom of the waves, and for their turn to smile. Megan Cross, who runs the adaptive surfing initiative for differently-abled people, is seen in the middle of the group, about to take them all on the beach clean-up which is part of their adaptive surfing agreement.
