Shark Spotters would like to extend a very big thank you to the False Bay Business Network for their donation of R21 000 to celebrate their 21st birthday.
The funds were raised from the sale of lamb rolls on Muizenberg Beach, in December last year.
The False Bay Business Network represents locally run businesses in the south peninsula that care about community and service, and we are so grateful that they have recognised the work of Shark Spotters in keeping people, sharks and the local economy safe from the negative repercussions of shark bites.
The funds raised will be used to support the maintenance and operations of our award-winning eco-friendly shark exclusion barrier in Fish Hoek. Thank you to all the contributing members of the False Bay Business Network, and we wish you every strength for the next 21 years. Local really is lekker.
