Head of our Families (HOOFIES) is a family system which has been part of Sun Valley Primary School for many years. It involves a regular meeting between a group of seven students – each representing a different grade of the school. The time is spent connecting, discussing various topics and simply, having some fun. The idea is to make the students feel safe, seen, secure and have a sense of belonging. On Thursday January 24, Grade 7s met with Grade 1s for the first time.Â
