I read the City of Cape Town’s reply to my letter regarding the homeless challenges in Fish Hoek (“What’s the plan for the homeless this winter?”, Echo March 24).
While I am glad to see that budgets have been put aside for the metro, their reply did not address the issues I raised, specifically for Fish Hoek and the rest of the far south. Please could Sub-council 19 reply to my previous letter and outline their plans for the upcoming year.
Incidentally, I have seen more new faces on the street over the past week.
• Ward councillor Aimee Khul declined to comment, saying Mr Kikillus knew the complexities of the situation.
