Vignettes unveils a variety of movement styles

WGRUV Dance Company is celebrating their inaugural year with a performance of their second season unveiling, Vignettes, from Thursday October 27 to Saturday October 29 at the Star Theatre, at the District Six Homecoming Centre, corner Caledon and Buitenkant streets, Cape Town.

The diverse line-up includes a look into the classics of ballet, including La Bayadere variations and Flower Festival, as well as a Spanish ballet by Carli Olivier. There will also be works by Dominic Walsh, Tyler Gilstrap and Kanji Segawa.

Vignettes elaborates on energetic moments of impact and serene moments of passion, subtlety and line variations. It will also feature the restaging of A Solo In Nine Parts by Jessica Lang.
