A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man have been arrested for the murder of a 27-year-old man in Ocean View.
The two allegedly stabbed the man to death early on Saturday November 24, accusing him of breaking into their house, according to Ocean View police spokesman Sergeant Leon Fortuin. The man died on the way to False Bay Hospital.
Police say the two alleged killers fled the scene and were found hiding in the Brackenfell area. They were arrested and charged with murder. They appeared in the Simon’s Town Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
* In a separate incident, also on Saturday, two men allegedly stabbed each other during a fight in Masiphumelele at 10.15am. The men, both 23, were rushed to separate hospitals, but one of them died of his injuries. Sergeant Fortuin said police then arrested the other man who is still in hospital under police guard.
