Pupils at Star of the Sea Convent School in St James recently celebrated book week with a fancy dress-up day. Nojabulo Khumalo dressed as a Zulu maiden from a book, The Zulu People, that she is currently reading.
Fish Hoek High school pupils Jordan Durno, Grace Steward, Luke Rushworth and Thalia Hawthorn came third in the 27th annual South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) inter-school quiz competition, at Bishops on Thursday August 22, in which 180 pupils from 45 schools across the province took part. The pupils are seen here with quiz master Murry Bridgman and Hayley McLellan from the Two Oceans Aquarium.
Five pupils from Fish Hoek Primary School were selected to exhibit their work at Zeitz Mocca as part of the Provincial Visual Arts Celebration in October. They are Grade 1 pupil, Willow Williams, Grade 5 pupil, Jayda Damon, Grade 6 pupil, Roxi Turner and Ille du Preez (pictured) and Grade 7 pupil Neve Killian.
