Sun Valley Primary School Grade 4s recently faced their fears by holding snakes at the school’s annual snake show. Sun Valley Primary School Grade 6 pupils recently visited the physics and chemistry faculty at Stellenbosch University. Naomi Overmeyer, Ami-Lee Gunning, Faith Vollenhoven and Amber Glaister had fun.

Fish Hoek High School Grade 8 pupil Jade Bothma, who founded Oceano Reddentes – a non-profit organisation that does beach clean-ups – last week received the Commonwealth Points of Light Award, which was recognised by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the British High Commission. With Jade is fellow recipient of the award, Hunter Mitchell, of Somerset West, who raises money for injured and orphaned baby rhinos.
