Two alleged poachers were arrested with abalone, crayfish and diving gear by the Table Mountain National Park rangers on Monday December 10.
Another two suspects managed to flee, but they were later caught by marine unit officers on the road to Misty Cliffs.
The first two suspects were carriers and one of the two suspects arrested by the marine unit officers was identified as the diver and the other the lookout.
Law Enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyason said, “Eight abalone and four rock lobsters were recovered.”
