Twelve young riders from Fresh Start Cycling Club in Ocean View took part at the Western Cape cycling championships, hosted by West Coast Cycling Association, in Velddrif, on Saturday and Sunday January 20 and 22. Jordan Newman achieved silver in the time trial and gold in the road race, Kendall Olivier silver in the time trial and road race, Leena Delcarme gold for time trial and Lorenzo bronze for the time trial.
