Noddy and his friends will entertain children at the Artscape Theatre foyer from Saturday June 23 until Saturday July 7, at 10.30am, except Sundays.
Noddy, a little wooden toy who nods his head, is very lonely at Mr Carver, the toymaker’s workshop, so he runs away to Toyland. There he bumps into Big Ears who wants to know who he is as he does not look like a toy. Only toys are allowed to stay in Toyland. The audience must decide whether Noddy is a toy or not.
There will be activities before the show, including face painting, colouring in, puzzles, play tents and bikes to ride. On Monday June 25, children can dress up as their favourite Noddy character.
This production is directed by Cheryl Abromowitz and Caryn Reznik. Tickets cost R90 each with a 10% discount for group bookings of 20 or more. Book through Computicket or at Artscape Dial-a-Seat on 021 421 7695.
The Echo is giving away two pairs of tickets to Noddy. All you have to do to stand in line to win, is SMS FBNoddy with your name and contact details to 33258 by tomorrow Friday June 22, at noon. SMSes cost R1.50 each.
